Joy School is Intense

Scarlet and I whipped up some play teabags for tea party times.

This is my saddest picture. The girl on the left is how Scarlet used to draw girls but now she changed her style to the one on the right. Not sure why this made my heart break but it did.
I miss the older version alot.

She loves to sprinkle us when we need a little help with our school work.

We also made SHHHHH spray together. She sprays you in the face if you aren't talking kindly or if you interrupt. These were perfect projects for Scarlet because she loves a little power...

Joy School

Scarlet made lots of suncatchers for everyone this Christmas.

She is learning like crazy!

This was a cool recipe- just dish soap and cornstarch.

Shadow puppet theatre! I was playing with this by myself, for real.

We learned about mosaics and Scarlet has been pointing out mosaics she finds ever since.

We did a weather unit together. This was a raincloud we made out of shaving cream.

She kept a weather record and learned to read a thermometer.

She loves to arrange her things.

This Girl is Wearing Me Out

Scarlet is so fun these days. She makes me laugh the most of all our kids. Today in the car she climbed into Hazel's infant car seat and said, "I don't know why Hazel is crying all the time, this feels pretty relaxing to me."

Flour and baby oil or canola oil makes really awesome sand.

Scribble pictures with Jane.

What's in the box?

Pippi Longstocking narration

Scarlet loves to set up her "office" all over the house.

Scarlet made sun catchers for everybody for Christmas.

Scarlet got all dressed up for Janey's cello concert. We did her hair and face paint.
 She loves winter sports.

Scarlet teaching Ezra his colors with pompoms.
Scarlet worked all alone for a while on her gingerbread house.
She's always asking me for a "project" as she calls it.
