Christmas 2020

Charlie writes an annual Christmas poem.

Cookies with Aunty Amber
The boys helped Roy put lights up on his house.

The stocking spread!
Christmas Eve snacking.
Hazel made moon phase books for her sibling gifts.
Ezra made some peg furniture for Hazel.
Ezra made an instrument out of wood and nails for Jane.
Scarlet made hair bows for her sisters.
Scarlet made cookies in a jar for Ezra.
Aunty Amber made us an ice cream kit- she knows our ice cream love is very real...
Scarlet made me a skirt!
Jacob made his siblings a new boardgame.

Jane sewed bunnies for her siblings and her cousins too!
I loved all my handmade Christmas goodies.

A highlight of Christmas this year was our big family Zoom session with our family in Iran.
It was really nice to visit all together.
The favorite gift this year was Gravitrax! It's like marbles and chain reactions all mixed into one fun game.
I found big lockets for all the girls.
Uncle Tim reading to the little cousins.

Snippets of Life

We were SO excited for these boys to serve missions.
We have been reading their letters weekly and are thankful for their examples.

Every Tuesday we write in our Thankful Journals. Here is a sample from Ezra's journal.
We were so lucky to have Roy share his joy of snowmobiling with us!
Ezra is hooked like his Uncle Mark :)

Charlie has had the opportunity to play some amazing organs in Edmonton with his teacher Marnie Giesbrecht. She's kind of a big deal in the organ world.
He recently finished his Service Playing Certificate.

Matching hoodies with your best bud.
Kalispell trip!
All tucked in playing Pokemon :)
Charlie worked SO hard to make the basketball team at school.
Seeing his name on the team list was the best feeling!
