Festivities!

Maddie is our lovely little friend. We love her love of music and peg dolls, her tidy playfulness, her curiosity, and the way she crawls into sensory buckets for the full sensory effect. She has the cutest happy eyes when she smiles like her momma and juicy lips like her dad. Plus she smells like a beautiful flower at all times. Oh and she never cries.
A Persian feast for Christmas.
Christmas Eve Magic

We still have one little one left to play with the Christmas village.
All the festive music recitals make it feel so Christmas-y.
The complicated stocking organization session.
Scarlet cut her long luscious mane. She was SO relieved to not have to deal with so much hair!
Tim and I found ourselves alone with these two littles- a rare occurrence! So we called up Grammy and told them we were going to the theatre. In their minds theatre meant a play (obviously we don't ever go to the movies) so when we pulled up to the movie theatre to see The Grinch they were so confused. Hazel was trying to understand that there wouldn't be a stage and live actors...
The best part of Christmas is how the kids all make each other homemade gifts. So much time and love goes into their awesome ideas!
Scarlet made fun homemade Christmas crackers.

Jane whipped up matching toques for all of us with awesome pompoms.

Ezra's 7th. He got to pop a balloon with a number and corresponding gift on every hour of the day. He LOVED it and we loved hearing his loud pop every hour.

Jane's 15th. It's almost time to bottle this duckling up and put her on the shelf to keep her forever.

Jacob's 12th.
The Christmas sockies from Lindsay and Chris has been the gift that keeps on giving. The kids comment constantly about how useful and cozy they are.
We felt honored that these two shared their special news with us. We are truly happy for them.
The annual NEW YEARS balloon drop.
 New Years celebration snow cream.
Who gets to have their very own snowboarding run out their front door!

We're blessed to have many birthday visits in a row from Grammy.
Not sure how she keeps up with it all.
 Grammy and Baba Christmas!

The classic cousins in jammies photo.

It's so nice to hang around at Grammy and Baba's with family. They do such a great job of making it cozy and relaxing. It's a lot of work feeding all our big families but we always feel loved and  at home.
