Soup and Hornbergers

Jacob waited a few months for his card game  Soup to come in the mail.
It was so exciting to see the finished product.

We had a delightful visit with the Hornbergers. All the kids shared something they're learning about and then there was music. It was amazingly inspiring to be together!
We especially enjoyed Micheal's art spinner he built.

Random Winter 2022

Jane has been a playing cello for many choirs and music recitals and weddings.

Trips to Edmonton are the highlight always. This year it was fun to bring a few friends with us.

"It’s like a time warp- nothing makes sense when I’m in Edmonton." -Charlie

It's a long story...

Love going to the greenhouse in the spring! Charlie was with us and told me he wishes he could put blinders on me like horses do so that I won't get distracted and take too long. I have to see every last plant!
Family sketching class.
We put up cute sun decals in the girls room. They keep their room spic and span!

The grand picture study review. We each pick our most favorite painting to display for the summer.
Gloopy snow paintings.

Eliana came to visit us for a few days. LOVE her.

Church best buddies.
Hazel's mapping class set up.
What would we do without all the cooking and cleaning Ezra does around here!
Hazel talking about yeast rising, “It blows up.”

Game hoodie from Grammy.
When the big kids are out late our nightly ice cream is on the extra large side.

Jacob has some kind of game that has to do with getting a marble in Ezra’s belly button??

Spring puddles!

Some of us pick up our library holds in transit bins.
So many beautiful studies happening.
Jane's gifts are so lovely. I still haven't opened the letter- it was too beautiful to open.

If harp's had clothes they would be fairy wings and ribbons.
Hazel loves mice.
Hazel also loves listening to music from Lord of the Rings.
Hazel loves playing in the sand.

Hazel's dolly Rosie. She must be simplifying her doll names- the last one was named "Thimbleberry Snapdragon Nibbles"
Hazel sewed these dollies! One for Lindsay and one for Haley.

Jane- "I think I could be a hoarder, but it would just be paper, like letters and stuff.”

Our fridge is always EMPTY! Too many hungry kids at all times!

It must be nice being someone's chocolate fudge swirl :)
New science tricks.
Scarlet's avocado cutting injury. Poor darling girl. She was much braver than I was.

A letter from Maddie always makes my day!

Ezra decided to put stuffing on his head for his music practice.

Valentines!

Hazel finished her ABRSM exam for Grade 1 Harp.

The boys have moved on from solving Rubiks cubes to making designs on them.

Side note:  Jacob plays last note of his piano songs out of tune to bug Jane. Brothers I tell ya.

Side note #2: Charlie can't nap without Jacob. He'll demand, "Jacob get in the bed! I need a nap!"

Needless to say, this turned into an interesting afternoon.
Happy Birthday Anna!
I made these for my YW

We started a study of the lives of Christian Saints after St Patrick's Day
and displayed them in the living room.

Charlie enjoys teaching Wyatt so much.
Jacob likes to visit board game cafes.
