Summer 2020

Ezra took this amazing photo of snake grass for his nature journal.
 Hazel learning about the spine.
Oh how we love Harold's micro greens in our salads. Hopefully we can learn the ways ourselves.
So lucky to have friends to play in the mud with.

Always a joy to be wit the Wood's.
 Ezra's breakfast presentation.
Hazel made wind chimes out of glass beads for Daisy's birthday.
He finally finished his Burgess animal book! Yippeee!

Upon seeing that the weather turned to rain, Jane sighed, "I was going to catch pigeons today, play on the hill and organize bones." By the way she named the said pigeons, "Dorkus and Darwin."
We went to the Hirsche's farm. Nothing like the feeling of hefting a warm and pink baby pig.
 My little Dolly!
We made art trading cards out of our picture study art. That way the kids get to review the artists and titles as they trade!
More piggy time. Ezra was especially interested in the caring of pigs.

 Bonding time with Lizzy.
Connie let us use part of her greenhouse which was really exciting.
For Mother's Day Scarlet copied out the new Proclamation for me.
Our garden at the Pilling's was SO exciting to plant. The soil was amazing!

 Good little pals.
I LOVE my new knitted vest from Lizzy.
 Scarlet's awesome nature journal page.
Hazel's perceptive drawing of Jane and Maggie making music.
Charlie's music looks like this now. Black squiggles everywhere...it hurts my brain!
