Summer 2019

 Joey's pool party birthday!
I love when she asks me to "photocop" something for her- photocopying :)

Scarlet Tidbits:
-One evening I crawled up to Scarlet's bunk and found her sitting amongst pinecones and branches of crab apples for a bedtime snack.
-Scarlet loves to get the mail.

We found a "Dolly Mix" for Dolly!
We were told that your cello will find you. So we tried lots and lots of cellos waiting
 for the magic to happen.
We came home with a few cellos to try :)

One odd little tidbit about Jane is that she prefers to write her papers in pencil rather than bare the torment of sitting at a computer to type it. "Score." She says.

"When I leave the house without my cello it feels like I'm forgetting something-
it's how you would feel without Dolly."
~Jane

It's the best when you run into Uncle J at the shoe store.
Shakespeare in the Park
 Dolly turns 6!

 The peg dolls continue.

 Park days
One of the best parts of Ezra is how he gives REALLY hard hugs- more like hug tackles. His cousin Max would approve. His hugs make up for comments like,
"You're not the queen, you're the chef."
~Ezra

Wild berries in the yard

"When I was little I love love love it to say "eleven" but now I'm used to it so I don't even care."
~Hazel

Lunch date with Amy pie

Cute harvest apron.
Fun summer sewing days with Grammy the professional quilt maker of the century.

We LOVED this book. We brought it to the fabric store so we could find all the patterns.
 Lego Challenges.
-She calls the game Boggle, "Google"
-She calls my blog a "Blop"
-She like "Whooped cream"
-She says, "Remember me's" for forget-me-nots.
-She called the book "A Crinkle in Time" for A Wrinkle in Time.
-She LOVES Beatrix Potter books.

Ezra made himself eggs. Nice presentation!

This was such a fun evening! We were practising making skewers for the Wedding. We had fun arranging then a deciding on the best design. Of course Lindsay makes
everything extra special and fun.
 My soul sister.
We felt SO special to be part of this beautiful wedding.

The tandem bike- makes you feel young again.

 Our ongoing elephant war continues...
Hazel spent months learning about the constellations.
This picture makes me want to hit pause forever.
 Maggie is a pearl.

These two are nature journaling these cool mushrooms they found.
Inky caps are edible and you can actually
use the dripping black stuff as ink.

The mushroom hunters. I once reprimanded Jane for her dirty shoes, to which she replied, "They're dirty from kicking mushrooms."
This was the neatest field trip ever. We finally made it to visit Baba's work.
We were bummed Mark wouldn't be there though, but then he surprised us and was there!
Baba explained his work to us- we tried to be on our smartest behavior.
Friends that feel like cousins!

When Hazel gives a hug she grits her teeth in order to squeezes tight enough.

Hazel tidbit: Hazel calls me on the phone, I say hello and she replies, "This is Hazel."

We had a lovely evening with Cousin Brendy. It was such a treat to visit and hear her contagious laugh. She is so kind and so awesome!
She had the best idea of having us do some sidewalk chalk and did we ever enjoy that.

Our cousins came to our music camp concert. What true cousin friends!
They always support us and encourage us 100%
I love this picture of Grammy giving Henry his quilt. She makes quilts with such love.

Sometimes you find friends for life. It's such a precious gift.
