Vacation

We stopped at a strings shop on our way to Kimberley BC for Jane to try some fancy cellos.

Hazel and I worked on a fairy land in the woods while the older kids played bball.
 Vacation craft time.
 Dad made us yummy supper.
 Sleepovers!

We found a log raft.

The tide of life, swift always in its course,
May run in cities with a brisker force,
But nowhere with a current so serene,
Or half so clear, as in the rural scene.
~William Cowper 1782

  The long drive home.
