Summer Continues 2021

The shiny new Italian shop in Sherwood Park.
Special cousin times.

My Homeschool planning session. I'd never left it this late in the summer- it was August by the time I finally got everything all planned out.

In a cloak...

Grammy's trees are amazing!
Eli with Grammy on a birthday date.
She always comes in the door with wildflowers.

I think we over did it with the zucchini planting. They make great bugles apparently.

The whole pumpkin growing experience was exhilarating. This variety was called Cinderella Pumpkins.

Beet juicing time. The boys like to carbonate it.

Charlie is always draped with Unky. There's Unky, not to be confused with "Unky Scrap."

This was one of the funnest days! The kids flew kites so high that they had to keep finding more rope from around the house- eventually they resorted to tie downs and all manner of cording...It was so far and high that it was difficult to control the power. Afterwards we measured the length and it was thousands of feet away!

The peg worlds are very elaborate. When I ask for explanations I get answers like this:
"McDonald Trump is the mom and she loves burgers. Their kid is Elly because he's an elephant and he loves ice cream."

Wilby loves Ezra especially.
Another fun day- the tied a super long rope to each other and then went about their day but stayed connected through it all.

Grammy is the best at being interested no matter the topic. She knows how to deep dive into learning.

Beautiful walk around Linnet with Grammy and Baba and the doggies.
