My mom knows each specific characteristic, talent, personality, and whim that these kids have, and with exactness. She spends hours with them on the phone, reading books, making lists, teaching them all kinds of neat things. She listens to them and remembers her promises no matter how small. She will spend days with them, on the floor playing, quality time, laughing together. She LOVES her grandchildren more than I ever could have imagined. This last weekend we were home visiting and I couldn't take my eyes off her. She's so beautiful and youthful and smart, and happy. One can see in her countenance the peace she has in her life from being so Christlike. We are all so blessed to have Grammy in our lives.

I would have to agree, your Mom is so sweet and kind.

I remember one year (or maybe it was two) but we were driving Jared and Mark to seminary and she was so grateful and I could just feel her appreciation for it.

I was up visiting my parents this weekend as well and got to talk to your Mom for a bit at church, she is so insightful and engaging. I bet that she is such a strength to you, because she was to me for the 5 minutes I got to talk to her.
