Duckopolis

We went on the coolest field trip to a farm called Duckopolis, owned by Trent, an 18 yr old awesome guy. He's been building his Duckopolis business since he was 11 yrs old. Now that he's done high school he works at it full time. He was so passionate about his work and such an EXPERT! He knew everything about such a wide range of animals, it was really inspiring. He shared with us how he's basically self taught by tons and tons of reading. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
Lucky for us, we arrived on the same day a baby lamb was born.
It's not every day you get to hold a newborn lamb.

One of the reasons we came was to learn about keeping peacocks-
Jane has been studying them, and we've been thinking about getting some for the yard.

Trent sent us home with all kinds of fun eggs to try- duck, turkey, and chicken eggs!

We also came home with 2 little runner ducklings. SO CUTE!!! They actually quack :)

The girls named the yellow one Alice and the boys named the black one Bellow.
