Falling for festive frolicks

Our annual fall leaves pile. I guess this is our last one since we are moving.

Holy smokes, fun dad.

I made my first circle skirt- the fabric is cut out like a donut. You are supposed to be able to make 3 skirts in an hour... This one took me four. I did add some extras, but still.

The good news is that Jane really likes it. Its comfy and twirly :0) And yes, the lace, elastic and fabric and felt was all found at the good old BB.

I love the skirt! And I think I may recognize the fabric...my mom went through all her sewing stuff and gave TONS of it to the BB. I wish I had thought to call you first when she asked if I wanted anything.

Cute skirt! I attempted a circle skirt last summer but my measurements were off and it was an abysmal failure. Did you know Coralie-Bickford Smith did another cover? It's Gulliver's Travels- I pre-ordered one which has an estimated arrival date of May so I don't think it is "officially" released yet. I also posted about some sweet Children's classics which got new clothbound covers- I've already ordered the 6 that are in Canada- Anthro was the only place I could find them but they didn't even have all of the six available through their website so I called WEM and got them to ship the set to me. Thought I'd let know as they can sell out fast and be hard to track down!
