Calgary Zoo

We go to the Calgary Zoo every summer at least once. Our kids are way into animals so we all really enjoy it. I am especially enthralled with the peacocks- I've decided I want to come back as a peacock in my next life :0)
They had a new butterfly room there this time. It had beautiful gardens and tons of butterflies flying around. There was also ladders full of hanging chrysalises, and many were hatching before your eyes. Needless to say, Jane was in heaven. We couldn't peel her away so we all sat outside on a bench while her love for butterflies blossomed inside. The rest of the time at the Zoo was filled with Jane's plans to turn her room into a butterfly room. I am not sure how to pull that one off but we'll see what we can do.

These last few shots were of course taken by Charlie, our budding photographer.
